Maytag MSRP is BS because the orginal quote was cheaper from the local dealer. Do you have any suggestions on parts dealers?

whrrlpooll gs2shexns makes a knocking noise when the comp is not running. it knocks about 10 times whit does this. it is random usually about 30 min apart. sounds like someone knocking on wood. it doesnt seem like it is tied to anything like the comp or ice maker. i can turn off the ice maker and water and it still makes the noise

Our son cut the extension cord running to our trailer with the lawn mower. When we plugged it in with a new cord, all power is working fine EXCEPT the fridge won't turn on. The On/Off Switch will not light up. Does anyonek now of a reset switch? We have checked all the fuses and none of them seem to be bad. We even replaced a few of them just in case. But still no power to the fridge. It wom't turn on with the Gas either. Any ideas?

The freezer works fine. The refridgerator part is intermittent. Cold one week 35 degrees F, then not the next 55 degrees F. I've defrosted, replaced relay, still same problem. Any suggestions?

When you start having cooling issues with yours AND YOU WILL cut your losses and get rid of it. It will never be a reliable unit for you and if you keep putting money into fixing it you're just throwing it away. I know you paid alot for it just like I did and you like it's looks. The fact is that it is a complete design flaw. If this was an American made product it would have been recalled long ago. I have read hundreds of post by Samsung fridge owners and that is why I have came to this conclusion.

The freezer sides compressor doesn't switch on and it just click as if its trying to start and the green light on the controle panel only come on for a second as the compressor is trying to start.

I have a GE 22 frig and discovered water in the back under where the water line comes in. There is no water on the line, but a nice puddle on the floor. Any idea where this would come from? Is there a drain pan? Where?

When the freezer is plugged in, it will act like it wants to run, but will only do so for about 5 seconds. It is an older freezer that was given to me and my husband and we are not sure where to go. It is a Gibson Twenty Chest Freezer. Model # FH20M1WHAC. We know it has something to do with the motor, but not sure where to look beyond there. Thanks!

My freezer cools great but the fridge side wont start the compressor kicks on for about 15 seconds then shuts off and will go for about 1:30 then do the same. Im thinking its a bad relay but cant find one for my unit. Anyone help...

I bought 2nd hand a Kenmore vertical freezer model# 253.23024104 and I don't know how to turn the Alarm Off for ever. A added one RANCO temperature control to monitor the freezer temperature e everytime the freezer turns back on ... the alarm goes off and I need to go to the freezer and press the off button again and again. How to just disconnet or reset this alarm to OFF for ever? Thank you, Ademir

A repair man was out yesterday and says that I need a new thermostat. I ordered one. I am pretty handy and do not want to spend $212 to have someone else replace it. I am unable to find anywhere online about how to do to this. It is a Haier HBF05EBSS-01. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
