The freezer warms up approx every 6 to 8 weeks. If I turn the unit off and leave for 24 hours (doors open) then switch on again it gets cold again until the next time. Could it be timer, if so need part number and information on its location sss043458@yahoo.com.au

My DFSB483D is about 2.5 years old. Suddenly, there is something wrong with the defrost. It will defrost but stay at +10F for over 4 hours. Service has replaced the thermostat, the electronics, the temperature sensors, fixed a loose wire at the fan towards the fridge; all with no success. Viking is of no help at all.

Maybe this is just the worst refrigerator in the world? For a $7,500+ product from a premium brand I sure expect more in terms of reliability, service and care for customers!

Needed to remove both doors. neglected to disconnect water line that runs through left side freezer door at bottom. line snapped at the channel that runs it through the door itself up to the dispenser unit. tried to take apart dispenser to feed new tube line through but cannot fid a way in either that area or a way to separate door. please advise

We have successfully switched the hinges on the refrigerator, to be able to open it from the opposite direction. Now we are trying to move the refrigerator handle to the opposite side, but with no success. There are little white plastic circles that seem to cover the spots where one would screw in the handle. But how do you disassemble and reinstall the handle? We can't seem to figure it out. Please help!!!!

The light is on in fridge and there is some noise from the freezer, but the appliance is not cooling or freezing. Have already left unplugged for over 24 hours and switched back on, but to no avail. Have been told it needs a new PC board and will cost 170pounds. Does this sound right? Does this appliance have a thermostat or does a pcb do same job? please help.

There is a layer of ice forming at the bottom of the freezer section. I don't believe this problem has anything to do with the icemaker not working, since the refrigerator has been working fine for the last four years without the icemaker working. I am having to chip away the collection of ice about every three days so that it doesn't cause water to appear outside the door. Any help can be appreciated

WORKS FINE FOR A WHILE, BUT, WATER SEEMS TO BE DRIPPING FROM IT. THEN IT FREEZES UP AND WILL NOT DUMP ICE, WHILE WATER IN TRAY HAS FROZEN IN CHUNKS BECAUSE OF DRIPPING WATER.
