Machine is not agitating during the wash cycle, but works at the rinse and spin cycle for all cycles: permanent press, delicate, and regular.
The dial just moves from start to finish and water fills up and soak the clothes with soap-does not agitate, then it agitates when rinse cycle comes on and then spins.

My load types are no longer in "synch" (i.e., if I select whites, machine goes to cold/cold water) and I am unable to reset the machine. Have tried unplugging and leaving it off. Is there any way to reset?

A blue stuff was pumped into line but this did not help in identifying leak. Any suggestion? Please don't tell me I am stuck with a $2700.00 lemon?

The only problem is that when my clothes are in the washing machine it does not spin them to clean or dry them out. I hear the motor working, there is nothing wrong with the belts, So I think it may be the transmission not working and I am interested in putting a new transmission in my unit. I do need to be sure that the maytag parts and magic chef parts are interchangeable though.

Model # MDG9316AWA drum will not rotate. It was rotating earlier and my wife said that it sounded like it was banging. Need to get into back of dryer to see if belt needs to be replaced. What's the easiest way ie How easy will it be to take back off, replace belt (if that is the problem) and replace back.
