You can copy the DATA from the HDD in a SHR-1040. It is in the ext3 format., which is mostly a linux format. You can get external programs in windows that can read it also. I have yet to figure out how to read the files themselves (read watch the videos). Though they seem to be a triplet file. .g273 for sound .mp4 for video and .mp4i for TOC/index? But the files are not a straight encode of either format g723 or mp4.

Whatever I set the play mode to, if I exit the now playing screen and go into any folder or anything, the play mode returns to the default.

I have tried resetting the mp3 before and it worked as I found that the ... button returned to its default (DNSE) but now resetting doesn't seem to be working.
Pressing it shuts the mp3 down, it takes a bit longer to open than usual but the rest of the system is the same and the same problems persist.

Cannot get the machine to function correctly in Ans/Fax mode.

After following instructions on machine to make settings as per manual. The machine does not pick up the fax tone and just goes to the answering machine.

I have a Samsung SMH7185WG and that has worked fine all along and is about 2 y.o. when suddenly the #3,#4 and start keys all stopped working at nearly the same time.

When I try to view photos I have taken I get the message File Error. I then have to remvoe the battery and reinsert it before the camera wil work , but then I am back where I started. Can anyone help me with this one please.

When i try to upload pictures on my mac, it starts opening my iphoto, but a box suddenly pops up saying that the device was suddenly removed. Everything is connected, as i have had two of similar cameras before. Why doesn't it just upload the pictures on to my computer?!?
