Watersoftener fills up with water over salt level. It does that since about 4 weeks, I pumped the water out once, but it fills up again. It never overfills. Can anyone help?

There is a layer of ice forming at the bottom of the freezer section. I don't believe this problem has anything to do with the icemaker not working, since the refrigerator has been working fine for the last four years without the icemaker working. I am having to chip away the collection of ice about every three days so that it doesn't cause water to appear outside the door. Any help can be appreciated

The operation cycle is damaged. The ram moves only up or down when the switch key is held manually. Originally the key was used to make a momentary contact and the compactor did the rest: start,go through a cycle, and stop automatically. Any comments are welcome.

I have a broken door catch assembly and I notice there is an un-used one on the opposite end of the reversible door. Do these just pop out or do I have to disassemble the door? I it ok just to move the un-used one over to the other side?

But you have to disassemble the door. Ours was under warranty when the latch first broke--the repairman did just that--he took the other latch and switched them. Now, some months later, the second latch has broken/come loose from within. Not under warranty. Thanks for the sturdy construction, Whirlpool engineers! This is a shame!

I was cooking and as the oven was preheating the display which controls the oven went out. I have tryed unplugging the range, checking my circuit breaker, and testing the outlet to see if it has power. The burners and the oven light still work. Please someone help!!
