My dishwasher FAVORIT34502VIO doesn't seem to work...

My dishwasher FAVORIT34502VIO doesn't seem to work. The program lights flash continuously when I select one, but when I close the door having added all necessary detergent, salt, etc, nothing happens. The tap is switched on, and I've checked that the filter isn't blocked. I have no idea what is causing the problem.
