freezer coil...

freezer stop cooling but the refrigerator side still cool.change the themostat and the freezer temp. setter.still not freezing freezer.

0 I cycled the defrost to see if it would come on and go off and it did. There is a box up front behind the panel with instructions on how to do this. You can take the bottom panel off in the freezer. The black tube is the heater, and it gets very hot, enough to burn you. I cleaned the dust off, there was a lot and I even made a small tube out of a curtain rod to get back in there and got it all out.. It has been running all night but has barely crusted a container of water with ice. 8 hours should have been enough.
