I replaced the heating element in the over. The old one had shorted out to the base cabinet. Even with the new element, the oven will not turn on. I checked the house circuit breakers and there are okay. The top elements on the stove work. It is only the over part that does not work, except for the light in the oven. What ever happened seems to be limited to the over electrical system. Does the stove itself have a fuse or circuit breaker that may be causing the problem? Please advise.
