My oven is locked out when bake or broil buttons a...

My oven is locked out when bake or broil buttons are pressed.I can turn on the clean cyle and it comes on and seems to work fine.Some of the digits of the model and serial numbets are unreadable. Any suggestions for resetting or maybe a child lock code?
