Question About Amana Range ARG7800WW
Service Manual: Lower Burner Gas Won't Turn ON...

Hi, I'm looking for a service manual and/or wiring diagram. When I select BAKE, the ignitor turns on and glows red hot but the gas doesn't turn on. It looks challenging to get anywhere near the gas valve. Looking for a manual for guidance. Thanks

0 There's no shortcut. First pull the stove out so you can get to it, and remove the lower drawer. Then remove the top burner grates and pans, then remove the two screws from each burner, make sure to keep track of which burner goes where. then carefully unplug the wires to each burner. Once thats done lift the top off and set aside. Look inside the oven door and remove the screws along the left side all the way down. then remove the screws on the back edge of the sidepanel, there's also one or two screws on the top. Once you have it loose pull the back edge of the pannel out while pushing it forward and uou shuold have access. its about 22 screws.
