0 Timer is in top refrigerator section (front) under the panel that holds the dual light sockets, and temp. control dial. After removing the lamp cover (push back to release), you will see two silver screws - these are securing the defrost timer to the plastic housing. If you look up carefully between the two screws, you will see the access hole, where you can manually operate the defrost timer. To replace the timer, you will need to remove the whole lamp/temp dial assembly - it's held by plastic barbs that are not easy to release.
