My Amana bottom freezer-refrigerator, BX22, builds...

My Amana bottom freezer-refrigerator, BX22, builds ice in the interior freezer fan which causes everything to melt and the fridge gets a little warm too. We've taken a hairdryer and blew the motor loose and it tends to work again till the next time! What is causing this? Thanks, T-
