Question About Amana Refrigerator Bottom Freezer Refrigerator
Replacing Gasget for Bottom Freezer Door...

Read somewhere that you loosen all hex screws on old gasket, or remove bottom hex screws , and then re-install new gasket. I notice that the screws are not holding the old gasket. What does hold it? Is it some sort of plate which when loosened permits the new gasket to slide under? I'm confused.
