why is my freezer working and fridge part isnt cooling at all?...

my freezer is working fine but the fridge part isnt getting cold at all. when i turn up the fridge there is a clicking noise coming from the top vent thing that sounds like something is trying to start but i cant seem to remove the cover to see if its a fan.
