Question About Asko Dishwasher None
Door switch?...

My dishwasher door switch seems to be a bit haywire... once started, if I need to open the door for whatever the dishwasher does not shut off like it used too. Wondering if the switch has failed and or is gummed up and needs a cleaning. If so, then how to get to the switch?

0 I took the inside off of the door and carefully disassembled things. There was some gunky looking crud in the door latch mechanism and it was keeping the micro switch from engaging. I cleaned things up with some q-tips and some warm water... all is good. On a scale from 1 to 5 with 5 being the most difficult this fix was a 1.

0 So it started sticking again, I lubed it up with a q-tip saturated with silicone spray. Seemed to work much better.
