F2 light flashing and dishwasher sounds as if it's...

F2 light flashing and dishwasher sounds as if it's draining all the time, but there's no water in it. Pressing F2 button continuously doesn't turn machine off. Have turned the machine off at the wall, but when it's turned on again the problem remains.
