The heating element of my Asko 1473 dishwasher is dead. I disconnected one of the wires attached to the element's lugs underneath the unit after I smelled smoke and noticed melted insulation. The resistance through the element is close to zero. The unit still runs fine, but I suspect the wash water temperature is not at its hottest. Any problem running it this way?
