I have a freezer 12 years old brilliant cant remem...

I have a freezer 12 years old brilliant cant remember how to set again after defrosting do we press button on inside orange light shows and then wait for green light ? it may not be this freezer as cannot get a number anywhere might be on the back inaccesable
