How do I change the bulb in the mricowave please?

0 To change the bulb you need to take the casing off by removing the screws at the back. This removes the sides and back in one piece ( this is a good opportunity to get into the gaps you can't normally reach to clean!!!) then looking from the back of the microwave, look to the top left and you will see a black piece of plastic. This is the base of the bulb. This needs wiggling out. It's not a normal bulb!!! Don't try and turn the bulb otherwise you'll break the glass!!!!!! You need to pull the connectors off the two metal pins. Then put the new bulb on and retrace your steps. I will load a picture of the bulb. They are £4.99 on eBay with free delivery. The bulb is T170. Hope this helps.

0 Above is a link for the bulb required! I would advise you order this before you start to take the back off etc. as these are not available in DIY stores.
