Question About Black & Decker Blender BL2900
overheated blender...

HI I was using my blender to puree some soup today. It, apparently was too thick, and the blender stopped working. It hardly smells burning, but there is a faint smell. It has been unplugged and resting almost 2 hours and the blender will not restart. Is it just dead that fast? One overheating and my $50 is gone? PLEASE HELP if there are any tips or pointers! Thank you SO much!

0 Mine did the same thing. The little blue light comes on but that is it. I've been holding onto it but I think I'm just going to trash it.
