Question About Black & Decker Bread Maker B6000C
Black & Decker B6000C Bread Maker...

I received this bread maker for christmas. The first time I used it, I find I have a very difficult time reading the digital display. Should this window be lit up? It stays gray when I plug it in and I assumed it should light up. Could you get back to me please.

0 I purchased this machine in May, 2012. I have yet to get a good loaf of bread from this machine. It never rises evenly or comes out like a brick. I have tried the recipes in the manual as well as ones I have found online. Any suggestions. I had an older model B&D that I used for approximately 10 years before it needed to be replaced. I baked approximately 3 loafs a week and loved it. I am not satisfied with this new model.
