I used to bake bread years ago manually and it would take 24 hours and a lot of work. I did however have control over the amount of each rise, and the oven temperatures. A relative gave me this breadmaker and it works well but I wish to understand the use of the timers for extending the cycle time, not just a delayed start. On page 6 of the manual, section 6 Timer Buttons; it tells you how to delay the start. That part is fine. It also states that you can also change the cycle times. This would be nice as I have a good feel ahead of time how fast a dough will rise. I can not find out how to do this and am not sure if the extra time goes into the first rise, second rise or where. Please describe this feature. Ted Evans

0 With Bread in the stores in Ontario at least about double the price of a few years ago, it would seam to me that bread makers may be marketed as a way to have better bread and save money. One cost that is high is yeast. Ways to minimize the amount of yeast would go a long way to making bread viable. The bread can be used for normal white or wheat bread and needs to be cost effective to the bread in the stores.

0 The reply did not help. I have a hard copy manual and the PDF. They are the same and do not help.
