I made the "pound cake" on page 32. The middle on the top didn't cook. It was quite wet but the rest was fine. I did use grated grapefruit peel as I didn't have an orange but that seemed OK too. I did stir down the sides as instructed with a rubber spatula. Was I to mix it in a separate bowl first as it does say "combine all ingredients" I put each addition in after the other cutting the butter into tablepoons. Opps, I used soft margarine.
