Can you buy a new battery for the Gizmo? If so, how much are they.

5 Batteries can be found by searing for ERGO batteries, as they are the same, either Ebay or Amazon will have them. Search these keywords: Ergo replacement battery or on Amazon: ASIN: B004P65ROY

4 Haven't found a new one but if you are handy with a soldering iron you can fix it. Get 2 new NiCad AA rechargeable batteries from Radio Shack or whomever. Take the Gizmo apart by removing 2 screws. Note how the batteries are mounted. Remove the old battery by unplugging the connectors. With new batteries side by side, solder a short wire from the + of one to the - of the other. Solder the black wire connector to the other - and the red wire connector to the +. I used masking tape to hold the batteries together. It is best to put solder on the connector and on the battery before trying to solder. Don't overheat battery by soldering quickly. Put it back together and plug it in to recharge. It takes 10 - 12 hours to charge.

4 GO TO YOUR BATTERIES PLUS STORE AND THEY'LL REPLACE THE BATTERIES FOR THE WHOPPING SUM OF 10.00 BUT YOU MUST GIVE THEM THE OLD BATTERIES.. THEY NEED THE TINY TIN OFF THE OLD BATTERIES..
