How to clean lower heating elements of my Countert...

How to clean lower heating elements of my Countertop Oven : the heating elements which are covered got stained with greese, both outside and inside the heating elements. There is no smell, however I'm afraid the greese, after sometime will affect the elements. I didn't find any answers in the Manual. Can you please help me? Thanks
