Question About Black & Decker Rice Cooker None
wont stop beeping...

Every time we use the steamer, during cooking time, regardless of the water levels the machine constantly beeps flashing the water level indicator and then starts to cook again ... this happens every minute or so and is quite annoying!! What would be causing this and and what can we do to fix it?

5 I had the same issue with my steamer - I was so annoying. Turn out the internal water indicator can get clogged with calcium buildup that you can't see. To fix it I had to run a vinegar/water solution through the steamer for about 20 min. After that, the problem went away. I now do a steaming with vinegar/water once a week to make sure it does happen again as I use my steamer a lot. Hope this helps!!!

0 Thank you so much!!! I used a vinegar solution for the 20 minutes like you said and so far all we hear is sweet silence!! lol Definitely a sanity saver : )
