5 Is the door latching properly? It could be the over flow device under the dishwasher. The pan could be full of water. Is the dishwasher filling up? You may also want to try putting a couple gallons in the tubs and see.. Also u will know if the drain function will work. It might just have water in the catch pan under it that shuts it down.. It's a float device
