Question About Bosch Appliances Dishwasher SHY56A

When I turn on the dishwasher the top control regular wash indicator flashes and then goes off. The switch is fine but it seems like the connection between the switch and the control panel is malfunctioning. After the reg wash indicator flashes it goes off and the dishwasher will not start.
