INITIAL START UP...

I JUST HOOKED UP MY NEW DW AND WANT TO MAKE SURE I DONT HURT IT WHEN I START IT FOR THE FIRST TIME . THE LAST DW I INSTALLED THE MANUFACTUTER SAID TO POUR 2 QUARTS OF WATER IN THE PAN BEFORE STARTING. IS THIS TRUE WITH THIS BOSCH?
