My mashine will not complete the cycle. According ...

My mashine will not complete the cycle. According to the indicator lights It stayed on rinse for three hours, although when I looked inside it seemed it was still in the washing mode. (The water was looking dirty) We just turned the mashine off. It has worked flavlessly since 2003. Any ideas?
