My on/Off button broke.. we bought and put n anoth...

My on/Off button broke.. we bought and put n another. now the lites for the times etc... do not lite. any ideas...? repair is like $120 for the 1st 18minutes...the button was $22.. the machine is 9 years old. any help? appreciated
