protective film on stainless steel door...

My son thought the film on the door was temporary and decided to remove it and now it looks terrible. Can you buy a replacement protective film?

0 Hi! I just got a new Bosch Stainless Steel Dishwasher. It sure looks like there is a protective film on most of the surface changing the appearance of the SS from where it is exposed. Is this meant to stay on indefinitely? Is there a proper way to remove it if it is intended for installation protection only? It looks like it wraps under the screws on the inside of the door panel. Thanks so much.
