hi i have a bosch hbn13n5.1b oven and the mechanism behind the control knob is not working ie:oven is staying on how can this be fixed?

0 Hi Paul, I have had a similar problem but not to the extent where I couldn't switch the oven off thankfully! After taking a look on mine I found it was the rotating plastic bit behind the knob mechanism (the knob has to engage with this firmly so as not to slip as you turn it). I'm trying to find the part for it as I write this.... Regards, Simon
