Ice Maker Problems...

I have a Bosch side by side refrigerator freezer combo and I'm having trouble with the ice maker. I've only had the item for about 4 months. I went away for a few days and the ice maker made enough ice that it pushed open the freezer door. Is there a way to shut off the ice maker as I haven't found the answer in the manual? Please advise. Thanks.
