My 800ES coffee maker cuts out while expressing, and also wont express again straight away - it will after being turned off for a while, but only once, then needs another rest. Sometimes when it's turned on after a rest it wont make the usual noise, which is when it won't work at all and must need a longer rest. Is it just overheating? I hadn't descaled it for a long time - could that be causing these issues?
