Question About Broan Trash Compactor 1050-J
I have an older broan trash compactor model 1050-j...

I have an older broan trash compactor model 1050-j . the ram seems lower further than usual causing the motor and gearbox to lean back loosing the chain which causes the gears to slip making an awful sound. I know there is a stop switch for it when the ram raises is there one for when it lowers . if not what is allowing it to lower further than normal.

0 i am the one who posted the manual. there was nothing in it to help with my problem that's why i posted the question. so hey guys i still need help if anyone out there can help.
