just bought a bush fan oven, AE6BFS. the light abo...

just bought a bush fan oven, AE6BFS. the light above the function controle knob is staying on when it is turned off. the light is very dim when off but goes bright when the oven is turned on. I can't find anything about this in the manual. should it be doing this?
