We bought a 8.6" meat slicer, Model #03520593. When we took it out of the packaging, there was a stainless steel bolt and roller bearing loose in the box. We can't figure out where it goes. Help!

5 My guess is that the bearing must have come from the track that allowed the part that allows the meat to slide against the blade. The bolt might be some kind of limiting bolt to prevent that part from sliding off on to the floor. You can always just call up Cabelas and ask them and worst comes to worst you can have them send you a new one as this one is defective. 1. Can you please upload a picture of the bolt and bearing? 2. Does the machine seem to work without it?
