How does the self clean work on the Crosley Gas Range? I believe it is model CRG3150PS. I have tried: turned to 'Self Clean' > ensured oven door closed/locked > timer popped up set for 3 hours. After 1-2 minutes, it started beeping. The 'Self Clean' was off and it gave error messages ER1 & said to turn oven to 'off'. I just moved into a place with this range but the owner's manual has been lost. I appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

0 Good Evening holly.marking, I appreciate your post! From what you have described you are performing the proper steps to ensure that your self-clean feature is activated on your Crosley gas range. If the range is not performing self-clean I would recommend is could be an issue with the control panel. An “F1” stands for a runaway temperature (overheating). This could be an issue with your RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (Electronic Oven Control). I would recommend performing a reset on your oven and you can do that by disconnecting from your oven for ten minutes. If you continue to have issues with the “F1” error code I would recommend having a professional technician out to your home for proper diagnosis and replacement of any electrical components. Hopefully this information has been helpful. –Matt
