4 I've owned a DLC-7 for over 20 years. Here's what I would do first: Check that you can remove the blade or the stem. If you can't, then it's possible that the plastic sheath covering the motor shaft is cracked. Can you turn your workbowl clockwise and lift?

0 I ordered the wrong part and it looks like I need the motor shaft that connects to different blades. Its pretty much a straight piece with a tiny tip at the top that was broken off.
