My DCC-2800 lid has come loose. When I turned the unit over to empty all water from it, two small apparent springs fell out of the unit. I assume these are related to the hinges, which had lost their "spring back" ability some weeks ago. Can you send me a diagram of where these springs go so I can try to repair the pot? I've already purchased another 14 cup unit (different Cuisinart model) but would like to retain this pot for a spare or large dinner parties. Email to don.mcginnis@tawinc.com
