Turn on burners (any/all) there is a 8 to maybe 12...

Turn on burners (any/all) there is a 8 to maybe 12 second delay before gas arrives to the ignitor. No aroma of gas but once you hear it it ignites. Only happnes when first starting...until you delay 30+ minutes. Have had gas line checked and great pressure to unit--any thoughts?
