My refrigerator isnt staying cold but the freezer ...

My refrigerator isnt staying cold but the freezer seems fine. For about 3 days, the fridge was feeling warm even though the setting was on high. We notices styrofoam in the back. Is that needed to keep the fridge warm? why would it stop getting cold?
