Question About Danby Microwave Oven DMW1148SS
silver cover...

I thought this was packaging as I have never seen a cover like this on any microwave I started to remove it then dis covered that maybe it was not to be removed it got torn a bit but I think I got it back on. what should I do. also I would like to know what this cover is made of .
