My Defy Dishwasher is stuck in a mode that does no...

My Defy Dishwasher is stuck in a mode that does not switch off. There's no water in taking, just steam. The only way we can put it off is by keeping the door open or unplugging from the wall socket. Please advise. It's less than a year old. Model DDW173.
