We have a defy gold frost free freezer, but the red light keeps coming on, and it then defrosts everything. What can the cause be?

0 2 possible solutions: 1. Freezer's gas needs refilling (happened to me 2 weeks ago). 2. Freezer is set too cold or fan airways are blocked, causes ice to buildup and block airflow on radiator. Ensure that temperature is set to -18 deg Cel. Remove all baskets and leave door open to allow for defrosting. If in a hurry, remove 4 top screws on fan cover and defrost.
