Question About DeLonghi Coffeemaker EC190

I have bought a new one. I used it for the first time without coffee.I used the manual but it doesnt work.The hot water doesnt come out of the machine.Its new so the filters cant be dirty and there is no problem with the pot (with the cold water). When I use the control with a cup nothing hapens,no sounds. Thank you for the advice
