My waffle maker suddenly stopped heating, no idea ...

My waffle maker suddenly stopped heating, no idea why, can you tell me what to do please? When I onnedd it and made my first batch of waffles , it was heating but after that it stopped heating and I had to remove the waffle dough out of it. The red power light is on and the green reach light , keeps appearing but its not heating
