I was given a Delta Kitchen soup maker for Christm...

I was given a Delta Kitchen soup maker for Christmas. first time of using brilliant. NO didn't wash jug in water!!! 2ng time no go Bleeps flashes power on all OK but doesn't heat up at all. Enough water in etc Any suggestions please. Regards R Jones
