Question About Kelvinator Dishwasher KD12WW1
My Kelvinator dishwasher Model KD12WW1's is stuck ...

My Kelvinator dishwasher Model KD12WW1's is stuck on the intensive cycle, the red light just flashes and it beeps continuously. I have drained it, cleaned it and all to no avail. please HELP!!!

0 In answer to my own question: After giving the machine a thorough clean, and soaking up and draining out all excess water - someone offered to have a look at it - he switched it on and voila! it worked as normal - now it has been out of action for about 5 days. He reckoned that there is a tray at the bottom with a float switch - if there is any leakage of water into this tray, the switch kicks in and switches off, as a safety feature. After the water has evaporated it resets itself and the machine will work again. After 5 days this could be what happened. This however is just a theory of his, and could be possible. ( he has repaired dishwashers for 30 years so I do have some faith in his theory).
